2026-2027 Online Student Registration Information
This year, Jackson County School District will transition to online registration for all students, replacing the paper registration packets that families have completed in previous years.
The first step for all parents and guardians is to ensure they have access to their FOCUS Parent Portal account.

  • If parents already have a FOCUS Parent Portal account, they should log in and verify they can access their account.
  • If parents do not have a FOCUS Parent Portal account, they should follow the attached step-by-step instructions to create one.
Beginning Monday, a registration link will be sent to families through ParentSquare. The registration link will also be available on the district website by selecting Parents from the top menu and then Enrollment. There is an option on the page "K12 Enrollment" that will take you to Focus to login and register. 
The New Student Online Application and Returning Student Enrollment Form include all required registration documents, including:
  • Student Registration Form
  • Housing Questionnaire
  • Permission for Screenings Form
  • Student Health Card Information
  • Acceptable Use Agreement
  • Chromebook Insurance Form
Parents will also have the ability to upload required documents directly into the system, including:
  • Birth Certificate
  • Two Proofs of Residency
  • Florida School Entry Physical (DH 3040)
  • Florida Certificate of Immunization (DH 680)
The following acknowledgments will also now be completed electronically through the FOCUS Parent Portal:
  • Student Code of Conduct
  • Parent's Right to Know Letter
  • Florida Parent's Bill of Rights
  • Parent and Family Engagement Plans
  • Chromebook Procedures and Information Guide
Completing these forms electronically will streamline the registration process, reduce paperwork, and provide families with a more convenient way to complete annual registration requirements. If you have issues completing the enrollment process or do not have access to the technology to complete this online, please contact the school for assistance.  Chromebooks will be provided for parent use at each school location.
